The Field Expander is designed to give installers an easy way to expand the diameter of a pipe.  The Field Expander works best on sections of pipe with a welded seam that are made of 24 GA material or thinner.  We do not advise attempting to expand lengths without a welded seam, as the joint may come apart.

For the expander to work you will need the hardware kit (ICC FEX) and the appropriate diameter of urethane plug to accompany it.  The 3", 4" and 6" diameter urethane plugs are sold separately.
